Shenstone has gone quiet again today in terms of migrants, with no passage birds to report on either the north or south areas of my patch.
Along Heath Lane, 2 Yellowhammers and 3 Linnets were seen. 3 Common Buzzards were soaring over and a Little Owl was in its regular spot. In fact I managed to get a few photos of the Owl today and if anything the bird was too close in the scope when I managed to get an angle on it, so please excuse the vignetting.
Butterflies seen (other than the numerous Whites) were 1 Small Tortoiseshell, 1 Holly Blue, 3 Common Blues and a Speckled Wood.
