Welcome to The Shenstone Birder. The aim of this blog is to record the birds and wildlife of my local patch 'Shenstone' in Worcestershire. I also intend to post entries on other areas I may visit in search of birds and other flora & fauna.
My local patch is referred to in general terms as Shenstone. It covers an area just outside of Kidderminster in Worcestershire that lies between Podmore, Shenstone, Stone and Summerfield. Also included within the boundaries of my patch is the nearby Captain's Pool. A map of the area can be accessed from the link below.
